Neptune watercolor brushes are Princeton’s softest, most absorbent option for artists working in water-soluble media. The synthetic hair can hold just as much color as natural squirrel bristles, but unlike natural hair, it’s much easier to clean and it’s less likely to frizz and lose its shape.

Neptune brushes come in pretty much every shape and size you’d want for watercolor, gouache, and ink, including some special options like quills and daggers. Most of the line comes with elegant, dark wood handles and gold ferrules, so they look great in your studio and feel good in your hand. The brushes depicted here are sold individually.
