Description
Commonly found in Japanese homes and businesses, Kaya-ori cloth is a unique textile made from overlapping layers of gauzy, loose-weave cloth. The makers of kayaori cloth use starch to hold multiple layers together, then stitch around the edges to join it permanently.
When you first receive your kaya-ori cloth, it will still have its factory starch. Rinse it thoroughly in the sink until it becomes soft and ultra-absorbent; now it’s ready to use.
Try kaya-ori cloth as a glass cleaner and a scrubber for your palette. The overlapping, light structure grabs dirt and buffs surfaces.
Measures 12″ square.
