Handmade from pulp to binding at Atelier Ecluse in Montréal, Quebec — this “memo block” is physically small at 4.5″ x 6″, but it represents an enormous amount of papermaking craft and it offers enormous creative potential for its user.

Inside the paper slipcover, you’ll find a tear-off pad with handmade paper cover. The interior pages are a color chart of the handmade papers offered by Atelier Ecluse, from bright white to earth red. All of these papers are suitable for drawing, sketching, mixed media, and writing brief notes. Each has a distinctive texture that reveals its method of manufacture.
