CHARBONNEL BLACK RSR
Black RSR is one of seven black inks available in the Charbonnel Water-Washable lineup. Strong and warm-toned, with a medium viscosity, it’s suitable for many different printmaking techniques.
INKS FOR MODERN PRINTMAKERS
These impressively pigmented, oil-based printmaking inks from Charbonnel have a special feature: they clean up easily with regular soap and water. In fact, these inks are actually easier to clean up than acrylics because they take so much longer to dry on the inking plate. Acrylics have to be scraped off, while Charbonnel Water-Washable Oils simply dissolve under hot water. No solvents or hazardous chemicals needed.
VERSATILE, INTENSE, LUXURIOUS
Charbonnel Water-Washable Inks roll out easily, mix beautifully, and can be modified with Charbonnel mediums to achieve almost any effect or technique in traditional printmaking. The most popular use for these inks is linocut printmaking, but they can also be used for woodcut, intaglio, etching, aquatint, mezzotint, and drypoint.
Whatever your printmaking medium, you’ll love the intense colors of Charbonnel. Made with a very high pigment load, these inks have a physical presence on paper that’s undeniable. Even when mixing or diluting, it’s easy to make bright, consistent colors.
